Question Insurance risk at track?

So I was talking to someone who said auto
insurance doesn't cover accidents when
running on a track.

My question is (having never been to a drag
strip) how frequent are accidents?

It would suck to crash (or worse get hit)
and not be covered

Thanks
-Tom

Insurance will not cover damages as a result of racing or sporting activities. Every policy I have ever read says the same. Accidents at the track are like lightning, they strike out of nowhere, but not with great regularity.

Warranties are the same, if they can prove the damage occured in racing (organized or not) they will void your warranty.

The bottom line, If you play, and you break it, you pay.

Hmmmm...the SVT Experience put on by Ford features road courses and dragstrip action so you "drive them as they were meant to be driven" I believe is what the official brochure said. I think Ford would have a hard time voiding it when they have it out in writing they were meant to race and I would argue with them all the way to Nasser if I had to.

If your truck brakes racing tow it home. Remove slicks and numbers from window. Call another tow truck and tow to dealership.

Good advise Noel, don't forget to remove all the rubber from under the truck, and your time slips! Lloyd
