LOL I have not even CHECKED the air in my tires since I got the L a week and a half ago, MUCH LESS adjusted them. I am just that good. If you don't believe me, just ask me how good I am and I will be more than happy to tell you

Cool

I am so good I shout my own name during sex. LOL

As a side note, try leaving the sides off of the AirRaid box. Mine sounds and seems to perform better this way. Others have posted the same feelings about the side covers.

Hey Yoda, just go to a track with good traction. Mine hits 1.9's on a regular basis, best so far of 1.931 on the F1's.
I'll guess 13.2x, good luck

guess I'm still steamed about my 2x 2.3, & my 2.2 60' times last Fri night. I have (if I can remember correctly) I have pulled a 2.0 or slightly better. Just hope that next time I hit the track I can get some 1.9x times.

Question Anyone care to predict...?

I installed my Airaid Monday an I am taking it to the track tonight. Same track, similar weather conditions, etc.
Stock, it ran 13.71@99.5 with a 1.98 short time
With the R9 only, it ran 13.43@101.5 with a 1.95 60ft.
Who wants to take a stab at what it will run tonight? Common sense dictates that it will help more at the top and and I hope to see a few more MPH. Will I get into the mid-low 13.30s at about 103.5? I'd especially like to hear from those who have made passes stock, with R9, and with R9+Airaid in a short period of time in similar conditions.
Yes this is all pointless, but I am just too anxious and I need to at least talk about it

Wow! A chick that's into drag racing and a L owner! You seem to be pretty non-bias between Chevy and Ford, having owned a Vette and Camaro (but not a stang! ) which doesn't happen very often. I sure know where you guys are coming from with the traction problem. With 295 BFG's on my 71 F-100, I can't even think of getting traction for atleast 30-50ft! The 28x13.5x15 M/T ET street slicks I have work great. I can go as low as 8.5-9psi(hot), which is optimal traction. I should take a trip down south to a lower altitude track, and maybe knock about a second off my time. I'm still looking into selling my 4x4 to finance a Lightning, since the local SVT dealers regained my interest by dropping the price of the 00's by $5g's! I still think I'd missed my 4by though.
