Well i was board a few weeks ago and i was searching around summit and i came arcoss pacesetter long tube headers. i was like what so i compared pics of other long tube like the dynamaxx and other that sell long tube headers for the L. Well i ordered a set and they came in today and the are very nice, the gasket that comes with is sucks its paper but the rest is very nice.1-3/4 primarys and 3in slip fit collector not bad for $285 i think . Now that i got them i just half to make up a mid pipe and see how it sounds and what kinda problems i am going to run in to

I bought a set also. I haven't installed them yet. Let us know if you run into any unique install issues.

pacesetters are junk... that is why they are cheap. I had a set crack 3 times, then the 4th time, the collector fell off...

I have some pacesetter LT's on my 408 Silverado and have had absolutely no problems out of them, for me at least they've worked quite well.

I have had my pace setter long tubes for about a year and I have had no problems with them yet. I do agree that the gaskets are crappy but other than that they seemed to be built well.

Well they are on and fit great, one of the header bolt holes was just a little off, i had to drill it just a little bit bigger and it works fine, i used v-band clamps the connect it to a set of 3in cats and made the rest with mandral 90 bends, it sounds great. i probely got about maybe $500 in everything i had to buy. As for pics i got to find my dig camra but i will post some as soon as i find it. all in all a great buy and well worth the money.

no but i talked to one guy that did

Helped install them on a buddy's '01 L. They are really a very nice product ... tight/clean welds ... rivals Kooks. Their design for the L is not good, however. Keep in mind that they cater to the Japanese/rice/performance vehicle crowd. After helping install them, I don't think they actually "fit" them to a truck after design/mfg. Install actually required modding (cutting/grinding) the fender well insert and tolerances to other chit (as if it isn't already bad enough) are RIDICULOUS! I have installed or help install 5 sets of headers ... these were the most cumbersome/time-consuming/frustrating.

How about some installed pics, interested in seeing how they look installed ? How were your noticed power gains with the pacesetter long tubes....did u have any install fitment issues with them other than the one bolt hole that gave u trouble?

Another fact about the Pacesetter long tubes is that the primary pipes are 1 3/4.
