Great to finally met you Ross. Cant wait to hit the track next time its open, which is Oct 27th, we should all plan to meet there! BTW the other Black "L" that was there last night belongs to Shane, he a professional Baseball player from Florida. Gwenn found out while talking to him last night.
Well didnt have the kinda of night I was looking for I wanted to get low 13's. I had some really bad launches, my best 60' all night was a lousy 2.208 (the other 2 60'ers were 2.367 & 2.324
man I was very pissed with these) ran identical 13.8's then a 13.6 on the last run. Although my trap speed was 102.9, 102.3, & 102.6, I just couldnt get the dang tires to hook up!!! I am REALLY wanting to get some ET Streets now! Mod69 ran a 2.0 60' on his last run against me, also he doesnt have his rims yet so he didnt have his ET streets, he was running stock rubber. If I could have pulled that I would have been in 13.3's (which is what I wanted to get). Oh well maybe next time out.
Went to Home Depot, bought materials today to make my ram-air kit. Should have it installed tomorrow
Anyways looks like I'll need to break out the dough to get the ET streets to get low 13's into the 12's. Also in a few weeks will have cooler weather which will also help.
Talked to a Camaro SS, he was only running low 14's which made me feel better.
