Thumbs up

i have no idea why you guys get such crappy gas mileage, mine gets great. i average 14.5 in the city and i get anywhere from 20 mpg to my personal best of 22.5 mpg on highway. i got this kind of mileage when i first got it and i am still getting it after 12,000 miles, even with my mods, although i do baby it a whole lot.

Wink

When I picked my L up from the Capital Ford body shop this evening, I stopped at an Exxon with a tire gauge and all 4 were reading low at 27 psi. I took them up to 35 for now, I think I'll experiment a little and probably end up with 34 or 35 front and 32 or 33 rear. Anyway, I'm glad I caught the low pressure after only 300 miles. I shoulda checked it before, maybe that's one factor in my 12.8 mpg.

For the past 10,000 miles I have been averaging about 11-12 miles per gallon in
city/hi-way driving.

The Red Bolt is an everyday driver and I have averaged 15.18 combined city and highway driving. Almost 13K miles thus far and loving it.
