Mark, Thanks for the pictures. You just made my mind up for my next mod. It looks awesome!The side by side shot was great. It looks so much meaner compaired to the stock hood. Did you run into any problems with the fit and finish? It doesn't look like it. Did it come with the right hardware to relocate the windshield washer sprayers? Thanks again, you helped out alot. Time to call Cervini's.

Hey, NICE HOOD! Just like the hood on my old '72 Mach I. "NASA ducts" right? Now we just need a hood induction system.

 

csvt150@aol.com: Yes, it comes with a kit to relocate the washer squirters to the crack between the hood and the cowl area. I haven't done it yet, I'm going to come up with something to run the hoses along the firewall instead of the edge of the hood.
Also, instead of putting the hood light back up, I've glued a suction cup to the connector it so I can stick it up there when I need it. I just need to make a little bracket for it to sit in when not in use so it's not rattling around the engine compartment.
I didn't do the fitting myself, I left it up to the body shop. They did say it was one of the best they've seen. They nailed me for 4.5 hours of work prior to painting it.

The one bad thing about it is the old hood is 23 lbs and the Cervini is 40.5. The stock struts just barely do the job.

TBL: And thank you, I spent quite a bit of time looking at pictures of your truck to convince me this was the right hood.

Q ship: They claim it's about a month away.

RICH THAT IS WHY I WANTED YOU TO POST PICS OF THE UNDERSIDE ON THE OTHER BOARD I KNOW RED HAS GOT TO LOOK GOOD UNDER THERE. MARK, AWESOME HOOD! I SHOULD GET MY CERVINIS COWL HOOD BY MONDAY, I DON'T HAVE A L BUT I'LL POST A FEW PICS SO EVERYONE CAN SEE THE OTHER HOOD THEY MAKETHAT FITS THESE TRUCKS.
