Who's going to have big Numbers this spring????

OK, so the winter blues have got the best of me. I haven't heard much on the forums lately and I can't get racing off my mind. So, who's doing big projects this winter? Turbo's, Big Blowers? Suspension mods? Weight reduction? Come on, who's going to drop some serious ET's this spring?

I my opinion the people that get there turbo setups dailed in are going to be making big numbers, say 800 plus HP, with all the right parts thats a 9 second ET.

Eh, anything above the average 600hp bought block, I mean, built block. Just looking to see if anyone is doing anything outside the norm. Turbo's, direct port, BIG blowers, 32 valves. I guess I should have said who's building something different, as I don't care if it makes the most power, just something original.

I know one Turbo L that is hitting 700/800 mark with stock cams. The truck is running solid mid 10's and getting stronger. Cant wait till the turbo cams get put in.

It seems like just yesterday people were yelling at me for putting a 2lb pulley on my Eaton, man how things have changed in 6 years or so
Now your nothing at 600 HP : o ()

To me (and partially because we dont have a track in my state) it's all about it's street manners. I mean dont get me wrong it's awesome and outright life changing to see Johnny run 8's and frigging Air Jordan over there (thats you Ralph) flying down the track like funny car's Of course as we all know at that point we're talking tubular, tubes, chutes, and star gazing launches
(Turbo L's are Da Chit )

What I'm always interested in are the Monsters people are driving on the streets, ("and them being able to be comfortable reliable and daily drivers").
If V gets his wishes (or ever gets his truck back, heheheh sorry V couldnt resist) you will have one very different and very powerful Lightning that may just re-write the rules and change the path of future Lightning build's.

I look foward to all the Monsters coming out and wish you all the Best....

Big Numbers

The only Big Numbers I'm going to have is RED ONES on my financial statement from this friggen wedding!!!!! I bought an SCT2400 Maf to try and get my truck straightened out this year again, and again, I just sold it before it went on the truck. Can't afford the tuning and can't even sneak the cash out!!!!

Back to the 4lber for another year.

I vented my block last week.

I can neither confirm nor deny the allegations that I am going to have some serious power in 60-90 days, and I will only have one belt

Well, I will hope for big numbers as soon as I get a TC to hold this hp and tq from this turbo. I keep blowing the clutches of this built torque convertor. Time to try someone new.

Torque convertors are hard to figure out with a turbo.......I didn't realize how hard it really was!
