Thinking about selling the L

Thats right gentlemen, im thinking about selling the Lightning but im not sure if I can part with it and if I do will I kill myself later. Getting to that stage in life where money is more important and I can always go out and get another hotrod for less money.

What do you think its worth?
2000L - 36000 miles on the odometer
Everything done by JDM
Iron block with whipple and NX 100 shot - maybe 20 passes on motor
BTS tranny - 8 mo. old
Body/paint in excellent condition
6pnt cage with removable swingouts
and currently the fastest stock suspension D/D Gen2

It dont matter how much you get for it, cause it wont be enough. sure you could get another hot rod for less but it wont be a L

If you can't get $30K for it, you should just keep it.

I'll give you $5.00 not to sell it to Rob, but if you do..............

I'll be whipping both you and Rob at the same time

**edit to move the decimal point**
hehe

Do you actually drive the truck everyday? What about it makes you want to sell it other than money?

My truck is built very similar to yours, and I drive it all the time. I'm not sure I want a cage just yet, and may never want one. The idle on the JDM cams are better than I was expecting. You can feel them, but just barely.

I have been thinking about buying a car for the track. These days grudge racers are running mid-5's (1/8th) on street cars. And I know my truck will never be that fast. I have came to the conclusion that the truck will stay a street/strip, and I will buy a track only car. The truck is just too much fun to sell.

Good luck with your decision, just wanted to know if their was a line you crossed with mods that made you want to sell it.

No you're probably not a retard... But you seem to think he is. Go back to stealing lollypops from little girls and leave the guy alone. Sure, you can't expect to get all your money back from mods; but, some would be more than willing to pay $30K for a vehicle they couldn't build themselves for $40K (vehicle price included).

40000 is a whole lot of money for a 7 year old truck. you can almost buy a new roush or saleen f150. those are pretty sweet. i think svtlightning is right. the kelley bluebook website says its worth 13,965 in "good" condition
