Post Looking For Truck Cover

I would like some opinions on a L cover that is thick enough to prvent the cats from scatching the paint when they jump on it, yet soft so it doesn't scratch.
I did a search, but I guess not a popular topic to discuss. I am thinking about the cover from CA Car Covers. Wondering if it's as good as they state?

BayArea,
Try this company. http://www.coversearch.com/
Search for Pickup SB Flareside Lightning (1997 to 2000). I bought their MAX model, $205.

Pros: Almost 100% waterproof. UV protection. Almost a perfect fit, cut and sewn to match the L's lines. Thick... will prevent cat scratch fever and probably dog scrath fever. I believe it will protect against all the weather conditions we have here in Virginia, even hail.

Cons: Bulky. You'll never get it back in the bag. Easier to put on if you have someone help you. I live in a townhouse and don't have a convenient place to store it, specially if the cover is wet. I have a tonneau cover and usually throw the L cover in the bed. BRIGHT BLUE COLOR. Underside is softer (not lined), but not soft enough I fear. I've had the cover since the end of July and haven't noticed any rub marks yet.

If my L was the daily driver, I would consider renting garage space. Hope this helps!
