It is not even 8 months old and...
I ordered a 01, I saw a silver with the new wheels and well, they look good on silver, I don't like them on the red, but the silver, damn.
On order 2001 Silver Lightning.
I hope I don't get backward on the trade.

I've only seen Red and silver, saw silver on my way home from work on outer dr.
On the silver truck, the center of the wheel comes to life (especially the crome lug-nuts and svt center cap) , but on the red truck all you see are the spider legs...

There are just too many little pieces (Headlights, foglights, taillights, high mount brake light, wheels, intercooler, new supercharger, other things) I want from the 2001, combined with my and the dealer's inability to figure out what is up/wrong with the transmission. The transmission being the main reason I'm going to upgrade. If I figure out what is up with the tranny, I will probably keep the 2000. Because it is a good truck and its light...

Thanks Steve. I agree those improvements are worth it. I bought the '99 sight-unseen. I guess I'll take that chance again on the white '01. I have your pics of the '01 on my wallpaper at work and I look at them every day so I can get use to the wheels. It seems to be working as I'm begining to actually like them. The only thing I think I'll change when I get it is the rear brake lights. We'll see.
