cold air intakes...??

Exclamation cold air intakes...??

ok so i have searched but couldnt find a straight answer...can anyone tell me in their opinion what is the best cold air intake that u can get for an 03 lightning? ive always been a k&n person myself, but ive got a volant and i like it as well, and personal opinions or good/bad experiences with any?

Here's my "straight answer": There is no answer.

Had you truly searched, you would have realized:

1. It is one of the most discussed topics around here.
2. There is no consensus on a best filter
3. Only a tiny fraction of the filter setups have anything to do with "cold air."
4. They all work.

Pick one and buy it.

If you really want info on these so called "CAI's" (as many have nothing to do with "cold air", the "search" button is your friend.

Has anyone ever removed their foglights for an intake point?

I've had 2 sets of factory fogs and all 4 have died. I'm toying with just removing them and feeding into a chickenears box.

You just have to pick the dead insects off of the filter once in a while. And watch out for rain.
