That bumper should have "steal me" with an arrow pointing to the filter! (Although I seriously doubt the filter looks like that now) Yep...they sure look good when they're new, don't they?

BMW has a good idea and I tried it.Atleast the filter.Looked for one that would fit in that opening but no go all were to small. So I did it another way and and it works a true ram air system no water gets into the filter assm and it works fine for boost levels up to 6 over stock. No MAF spikes when at idle to wot or weird readings. Been using it for almost 4 years and still going strong.Stan

Very innovative as usual Stan. I know exactly where you have routed your hose as I have something very similar on mine. I'm surprised nobody has figured it out. Are you still drawing air from the fender?

I really like the aero treatment on the front. That material is hockey rink stuff isn't it? You guys have those down there? I bet there still wondering where that piece went

I would like to do something similar. I still need to give it some thought. Still looking for black material which is sturdy enough to withstand the force of the wind.

Thanks for sharing.

TB

No air being drawn form the fender all is thru the fog lite hole.IF you plug fog lite hole up the motor will stall out from lack of air.STan

Pit,
I think you're on the low side. It was probably closer to 180mph...

I'll always remember his story at the Silver State where he was near 180 (in a farm truck ) and he noticed his rpms going up but wasn't going faster. His rear wheels were airborne

I challenge anybody to come up with a better one.

Thats exactly what I was hoping to see! Thanks Stan.
I was hoping it didn't look too goofy without fogs.
