Tail lights

I got a 03 Red L. I have been thinkin about switching the stock tail lights with the standard red lights to give it a more cleaner smooth look. any thoughts?

Wow... I think the clear lights look allot better the the solid ones. Plus it gives it that more unique touch over a standard f150 and more color accent (where red on red would be to much the same color). I never thought someone would want to replace the clear lights with the standard ho-hum solid color ones.

Myself, if I had an older 99/00 Lightning, I would be replacing the stock solid color ones with the newer clear ones and not the other way around.

I replaced mine as well. I'm from Houston, and everyone and their grandma buy aftermarket lenses to replace stock lenses. Reminded me too much of that street scene.....

The best looking on a red Lightning IMO would be the red with a very light black tint. But it has to be very light.

I saw this on a bunch of high end tuner cars (Mercedes) in California and it looks fantastic. I would like do it but I am worried about screwing it up.

If its too dark, it really looks like "the shnits".

i put the red ones on my 01 white truck. I think the red looks best on a white truck but now on a red i think the white lens look best. it gives some accent

I hated the stockers

Then I tried these "bermuda black" but they kept fogging up and the look got old with me real fast.

I like my 2002 supercrew stock tails the best.....they never shoulda done the clear tails IMO.

No way! The clear are the best looking! Gives it a little bling factor and makes it look more unique then the standard ho-hum f150. Like LatemodelRacer2 and I already said, it also adds some accent too.

Out of the pictures you posted of your black truck, I like the clears on the black FAR better then the other ones.
