Tire Size 9.5 same as 295?

Hey guys,

I'm new to the lightning world. I just purchased 4 new tires 295/45/18's, Toyos, for $150 ach. I saw some rims that I like and want to know if the 295 tire will fit the 18"x9.5" rim? Thanks.

Yes, that's the size wheel that comes stock on the Lightning. You're good to go.

Isn't there some back spacing measurement that needs to be considered when buying 18"x9.5" wheels?

I doubt he's going to find a set of wheels that fits our 14 mm studs and bolt pattern, that isn't made specifically to fit an F-150. No point in overcomplicating things. Besides, he asked if the tire would fit the wheel, not if the wheel would fit the truck.

Thanks guys, what about the shocks? I don't drag yet so I was thinking about something mid-range. I've read that the QA1's are the top of the line. What is every one else runnig b/w the springs?

That's true, but I would want to make sure before mail ordering a set of wheels, then have the tires mounted, and then find out they wouldn't fit and have to pay shipping to send them back.
