help...is this normal?

a reading of 10.5 on my aem wideband at WOT? is that normal.

also another thing... it seems my IAC has nothing more left in it. i have pulled it off and cleaned it at least half a dozen time's and the fog horn blow, along with the straining idle come's back. (now more than ever) just about everytime i approach a stop light/sign or let off the throttle it goes haywire.

would the oil entering the intake be the cause of eating up IAC's . funny thing is though, the IAC show's no sign of oil in it. i do have the halfa$$ed a/c oil separator on the truck, but it is simply put in line of the vacum line from the pass side pcv to the upper plenum. pitstain was saying to block off the hose going to the lower plenum, put a breather on the driver side, and eliminate the pcv. a little vauge to me, i'm a bit unclear if that was it or if there is something more. do i keep the a/c sep. or eliminate it. ( i never got a chance to reply to his post)

not to be asking too much , but would the way i presently have the oil separator installed cause the truck to alway's throw a: lean cond. bank 1 code after a lengthy drive.

until i can afford an l&s separator i think i might eliminate my current set-up and go back to stock. unless someone can offer a solution or better explain pitstain's idea good idea or not???

I had the pcv system bypassed with breathers on the Passenger and driver side valve covers with the lower intake hose blocked off with a vaccum cap. It worked ok. I didnt seem to have any issues with it. I did eventually blow it up and the truck was taken to JLP for the rebuild. When I got the truck back they had put the pcv system back in place and only had the oil filler cap vented with a breather. my setup was in a box in the bed

When I got it home I just put the oil seperator on it from LFP on the passenger side and vented oil filler cap. the oil seperator is half full every week. I started pooring it in a cup each week and after about a month...you wouldnt believe me.

Now every time I check the throttle body, upper intake and CAI it is all dry. For me, the problem is solved.

Not real sure but you may be getting unmetered air in somewhere. Check all the fittings back there and you may even think about clamping the hose going into the SC along with the ones around the seperator (which may be the problem to begin with).

You are right, it may be a good idea to just remove and go back to stock. At least you will know if that is even the culprit.
