INTERCOOLER LEAK FIXED FOR 2001?

Does anyone know for sure that the intercooler leak problem has been "officially" fixed for 2001? I just placed an order for a 2001 and now wondering if this problem is going to be a deal breaker....

Noone knows if the intercooler leak problem is fixed on the 99-00, but the part number on the intercooler for the 01 is different from the 99-00.
