Good daily-driver choice but I wouldn't call them a high performance tire as the compound is a little hard. I've got 34k miles on a set, looks like they'll make 50k miles, exactly twice what I got out of a set of F1's.

I'm using them. They don't hook as well as F1s. I went straight to the track once I put them on and my 60' were consistantly .1-.15 slower with the Hankooks. What I am loving is not having to pay a ton of money every 20k for F1s.

On the street I get a little tire spin pulling onto highways from a stop sign. In the rain they work well but I never 'test' them on wet roads. I'll be replacing them with another set when the time comes.

i have had WAY better luck with Hankooks than F1s. First, I think they do hook better. I have pulled my best 60 foot with them (1.83). I replaced my F1s with about 1/4 tread on them with the kooks and they were better. Only time they are worse is the rain. Kooks are better at speed in the rain, but not from a stop. But now they are bald like a babys butt and they just go up in smoke into 3rd gear.

And for the money, you can not go wrong with kooks. I will be replacing the rears with another set once the L comes out of hibernation.

Almost forgot, never had a flat with Kooks, had 2 flats on F1s. Not all that impressed with the Badyears.

Hankooks came in today, installed tonight. I don't know, maybe because I haven't driven the truck much in the last two months, but it seems to ride smoother and quieter. They look awesome, so awesome that when my wife dropped me off to pick it up from the tire place, she asked could she drive it to work tomorrow, she said it looks sweet. Also got a wheel alignment and it seems to drive better, wont really know until I put it on the interstate tomorrow.(after she get's off work). I give the hankooks a
Thanks for all opinions.
