Hi Andy

What part of the UK are you in ??

Do a forum seach using the "Search" option in the black bar.
You will find a wealth of information.

Depandant on your wheel size you can go for a number of options.
Willwood, Baer, Bembo etc

You can purchase complete kits and have them shipped direct to UK
Easy to install.
After my new motor install I will upgarde my braking, saying that I have installed slotted rotors and better pads all round and that has made a difference.
If your trying to get the same braking power as an M3 or AMG or one of the bigger Euro 4x4s forget it - the truck is heavy so maybe upgrade a little and loose some weight off yer truck.

Andy, go to www.tceperformanceproducts.com

Todd Cook is the owner and is a real nice guy to deal with, he makes custom Lightning specific brake setups using Wilwood products, they are by far the best priced and best performing brakes available for our trucks. He has matching front AND REAR setups for people who run stock wheels, and monster setups for guys running 20's or larger such as myself.

front 16" rotors 6piston forged calipers

rear 15" rotors 4 piston billet caliper, AND factory parking brake.

These guys just came out with a caliper for the lightning that looks good... don't know much about it though.

Hey pitstain, what kind of rims does your truck have? I think those are probably the sickest wheels i've seen on a lightning so far, and look pretty light. I am building a motor right now and once i have recouped my finances,im gonna upgrade the brakes, definately the biggest upgrade to do is the brakes imo. Anyway, sick brakes and wheels....

Andy. First of all, no driving at 120mph. It's very naughty
Unless you join us at the Euro SVT meet in May where we will be on the autobahn.
2nd, you should be able to find a decent brake kit for way less than that.
Come over to the Rebel-V8 forum in the UK and we can get you sorted. We have lots of Lightnings and HD's on there.

Hmmm... I thought the 4 piston units were new... I think what they had befreo required larger rims.

It's been a while since I researched it.

I must admit that I saw these on e-bay and was curious - advantage is that they are bloody cheap (sounds a whole lot better, and more affordable than the $1k - $4k prices I have seen) I would imagine they would improve the braking a little... other than that they look quite good too

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...QQcmdZViewItem

anyone have any thoughts
