Looks to me like it has the worst of both.
I would like a cover that can easily be gotten out of the way to carry large items or to lay in the sun at the beach. I don't like the hump back look of soft tops and the Retrax style are just too expensive for me.
I continue to do without, for now.

 

Looks like it's borrowed from that abomination, the Aztec.
