Bassani Ordered / Lfp

I ordered my ss Bassani cat back this morning from LFP. I must say LFP has some of the best customer service in the buisness. plus you can not beat marks prices.

I had been going back and forth on which catback to get. IT was between the bassani and the silver bullet kit. sound was the reason i went with the bassani. svt_ky lives near me and his truck just sounded so much better than mine. we both have high flow cats but i had the single muffler magnaflow and he has bassani. the kit could be here friday evening.

Congrats on the purchase, you wont be dissapointed, The bassani is my personal favorit sounding exhaust, I too had the magnaflow as well and while it sounds great at idle and part throttle, at WOT it was a bit wooshy washy for my taste. Mark and the rest of the LFP team are good people.

From: Colorado,
There are times when I wish my Bassani CB was louder, but for trips and cruising I'm thankful for the way it is.
Mine is actually louder between 60 and 65 than it is above that.

Stay on top of those tips if you want them to stay nice. Just because there SS don't mean they won't loose there shine.

I towed a 5k pound trailer 2.5K miles and was in some bad weather and didn't think I was in the boost to much. My tips turned a cruddy gold color and I can't get the shine back. You have to know where to look to see the bassani name. Any idea's would be appreciated? I think the stock ceramic hold up better but there is maint with those too if you want them to stay nice.

I also agree you made the right choice

And Yes Mark has some kick a$$ pricing and has always been berry berry good to me too

G, if mine was any louder they'd hear me from 2 towns away instead of just 1

just got here a couple of hours ago. first impression is that it does not look to have the quality of my old magnaflow setup. the welds and the look of the bassani system is not a match to the magnaflow. the mufflers seem to be made of thin ss. the bassani system does appear to look more like a L exhaust and i know the bassani system sounds better.

going to install it thurs. morning anyone have any advice. i am going to get some u-bolt exhaust clamps to replace the bassani clamps. any other things to look out for? thanks brian

youll be fine with the ubolts those strap clamps suck, you can race up a bumpy hill the whole exhaust will fall off

Please let us know what you think of it. I too have a magnaflow catback and am thinking of switching over to Bassani.

well the bassani cat back is on. i installed it by myself with a floor jack and jack stands. the install went easy and man let me tell you what a diff in sound. the bassani has more of a hollow raspy sound. i knew as soon as i pulled out of my driveway that i had made a great choice. i am so happy with the bassani i will never change the exhaust. even if the kit does not hold up i will replace it with another. if you are thinking about making the change to bassani do it! i know the cat back will get louder over time so i am putting as many miles on it as fast i can lol. also man does this kit stink when it is new. after my first test drive the tail pipes were smoking and my house now smells like the exhaust lol. very good mod and now i will say it is worth the money.
