Glad to hear they are replacing your motor. Do you know if you will be getting an 01 motor?

crush69,
Collette is chief engineer, Tom Scarpello is Mkt Manager for SVT...in case they didn't want to honor warranty.
Glad to hear they are taking care of it.

4DTHNDR,

The Autotap OBDII gizmo is a reasonably affordable and useful solution, and I will be putting an A/F meter in my 3-pod pillar, when it comes.

I'm convinced we need to instrument at least some of our trucks to start reporting on what we're doing to them.

Just been told that they were denying my warranty as well. Seems the intercooler leaked but the hole was too large too believe so they think I did it. This is so ****ED up I cannot believe these people. I think I will just get the truck back and put it out of its misery. Anyone want to see how fast a lightning can burn???

Shane,

That is bull*****. One of the guys in the HALO clubs intercooler let loose at 70mph dumping the whole contents at once. This in turn hydraulic the motor. He would have had to have a real big hole to empty the whole thing at once. I would keep fighting. Call SVT, regional manager for that dealer, Ford, or whoever will listen. It is not your fault for is putting these faulty intercoolers in these trucks. And with all the ones that have failed, should not be that much of a problem in getting it fixed.
Good luck,
Jerrod
