Smile Tailgate handle.

For those of you who value the looks of your truck as much as the performance (Sixpipes, ZorPrime, Asdeman, etc):

Have any of you guys tried shaving and reversing your tailgate handle? I saw that Chevy in this months issue of Truckin' that had it done, and it looked cool... would be nice to have a smooth back yet have the handle on the interior.

They said Sir Michaels made the rod extensions for the handle mechanisms.

Cool

This is a picture of my tailgate handle. The guy at the body shop told me that the whole section around the handle would have to be cut out and replaced to do it right. I decided to have him just paint the thing instead of making it look like a Chevy. Besides, with the Snuglid locked, security is not an problem.

Cool

I have thought about it.And i have thought about shaved door handles. But for now the painted tailgate handle will have to do.I have 10k invested in my truck right now,And i really need to work on paying the damn thing off.I am thinking about the smooth wiper cowl...cheaper than the tailgate handle and shaved door handles.Maybe down the road ill do it.but smooth wiper cowl and roll pan come first.
