Will I Pass with P0602?
Hell even here in NY I pass with Flying colors every year with no EGR System,
Can that P0602 code be cleared ???
trublu what are your Mods ??? As said if it's only the Basic's, (Filter Chip N Pulley) just put the stock tune back in and go get inspected ; o )
Then put your hand held tune back in after you pass ...

Looking forward to that email Dan.
In PA, P1000 does not pass, except for ONE reason:
you drive less than 5000 miles since last inspection. In that case, they do not check OBDII codes - the MIL light, however, cannot be ON.
i had the P1000 from Predator also. I heard ScT allows control of P1000 from the tuner, Predator did not. However, i asked RWTD, in last tune for my Predator, to eliminate it, which it appears to have done. Not showing on AutoxRAy anymore. What i heard you need to do if Predator and P1000 and tuner cannot eliminate, is put stock tune back in and go through the Ford drive cycle list (it's LONG) and it will go away. Also, for the monitors - for post 1996 vehicles, i believe you can have ONE monitor INCOMPLETE and still pass with P1000. Two or more fail, so if you can at least get it down to ONE, you should pass.
For now, i have passed 2 years straight due to L not being daily driver - P1000 codes are ignored due to less than 5000 miles. My emission sticker says 'EXEMPT'.

The P0602 can be shut off in the tune by your tuner. It's not an OBD related code, and shouldn't affect your inspection, UNLESS your state fails you for ANY trouble code.
They are testing for OBDII test cycle codes. Here in NY, you are allowed a certain amount of codes before you fail up to a maximum of 3 failed codes (varies with year of vehicle).
The P1000 is kind of a joke to me, because I have scanned probably over 10,000 Fords in my life and NEVER seen one that didn't have a P1000. Yet some states will fail you for it. You can't turn off the P1000 in the tune, because then it comes up as an automatic failure (just as if you disabled cats or something in the tune).

I failed in Texas for p1000,
after a couple weeks of driving, with out reseting the chip or unplugging the battery it went away
Everytime you unplug the battery you get P1000
Im due for Inspection this month
well see how it goes

Thank you to everyone who replied. There is a wealth of knowledge on this site. I need to start posting more.
JL is going to adjust my tune so I don't get P0602 anymore. I'll post up the results of my inspection when I get everything squared away.
Thanks for the tips Dan.
Cool. Maybe I'll see you around sometime Dave.

For the most part, anyway...
Well, I finally got my inspection sticker. I was able to get rid of the p0602 but still haven't got rid of the p1000. I tried putting it through the recommended drive cycle, but no luck. Its kind of hard to follow it word for word and in the proper order with so many cars on the road. It even says to avoid major turns and hills which is near impossible where I live. I ended up getting a collector car voucher from dmv and getting the sticker that way. It costs $25 and you don't have to wait in the inspection line. You just go into the office at the inspection station and show them the voucher. They check the mileage and give you the new sticker. The catch with it is you're not supposed to drive over 3000 miles per year which I usually don't anyway. I can even get cheaper insurance now if I can find a company that offers collector car insurance. I'm glad to be done with it. NJ can be a pain in the @ss when it comes to inspection.
Big thanks to Rich(Hostile)
for letting me know the voucher was an option. I wasn't even aware it existed before speaking with him through email.
Big thanks to Rich(Hostile)
