Thursday PM is the FME Drag Night at Milan, and Fridays are the street races. Ls are in appearance at both.

I will be there Thursday if it doesn't rain. If I don't make it Thursday, I will go on Friday. Hell, I might go Friday, anyway

Gordon

Cool

i have talked to many a racer at the local tracks, and conclude that milan is not a very good track and too crowded on test n tune nights to get many runs in.if you s.e. michigan L owners ever want to run at a good track you will have to travel west to stanton to mid mich motorplex or us 131 dragway in martin.i'm told by racers that at stanton, they get better times than norwalk, as it is a few hundred feet closer to sea level.not a flame on either track as i would have been in norwalk the 10th myself, had it not been my wifes birthday.later

ibfast,

How're you doing?

Milan sucks, that's for sure. But it's close for me.

The Friday night crowd was pretty manageable last week, but Wednesdays and weekends are too busy. Friday is nothing but street-legal doorslammers, so the crowd is down a bit.

It would be fun to go "up north" for a run sometime. I've heard good things about Stanton. What's the schedule on weekends?

Then let's get a trip to Stanton together Mike. It will have to be soon.

Maybe Saturday the 30th or Oct. 6th. We've got the Norwalk deal on 10/13 and Englishtown the following weekend.

May as well finish the season with a bang.

Bob,

You said it! I didn't know what I was missing. Now I have to make up for the whole summer I didn't race.

BTW, thanks for the loan of the MTs. As you can see, I'll be using them. I will probably have a set of my own within a couple of weeks, if Mrs. BadDog cooperates.

hey baddog, i see you already found the schedule.i met you and a few others at bakers this summer.i was the black L with billet grills, anyway i remember you were still contemplating what chip ect.now your winning trophies, which is more then i have done, and by the sounds of it, you want to race in every race you can.what a difference a couple of months make hehe.at stanton i get 1.9s 60 ft times regularly, and 13.1 and 2s.on et streets, and have got 1.888 60 ft. i usually get talked into going to martin u.s. 131 dragway on fridays by a local L and a guy that drives up here from indiana to race, and hit stanton on test n tune night, but if you racers from metro detroit are making a trip over and up ,in the case of stanton count me in.just say when.later

ib fast,

I certainly remember meeting you at Bakers. We spoke quite a bit about things.

I lucked into the trophy, but I got hooked on the adrenalin from racing. I just need to get my reaction times more consistent.

I'm just starting to get the mods together on the truck, but I am aiming at low 13s by the next season.

Stanton sounds/looks like a great place. Too bad Milan can't get its act together.

I will start a Stanton thread later today.
