I have the Airaid setup with the AutoPhysics Big Mouth filter and am very pleased with the setup. The whining sound of the filter when at WOT sounds like a jet taking off.

I also have the PSP filter kit but have not yet tried it out.

No idea on the performance or looks of the JohnnyAir Filter setup.

Cool

Or you can build your own like I did for less than $60 (after I install the new S&B power Stack Filter from Sal).

My vote is for the Airaid. Real Quality unit, easy install, Blocks hot air out. LLoyd

Da*n good question... I'm totally confused about what to do for an intake:

Here's how I see things:

* Airaid: Couple people had install problems; look goofy (IMO); Does hot air blocking hurt flow?; EXPENSIVE; and do we have to get the Airaid and then get something called a Big Mouth?

* Downs: Supposedly a POS... huge quality problems... I think more have been returned than installed in L's

* PSP: Backordered since dinosaurs roamed the earth.

* '00BlackLightning: Thanks for the idea... but I dont have access to the fab tools, and have limited mechanical talent. Cool pic... went for the "actual size" effect.

* JohnnyLightning: Not a lot of info on this... very few people using it.

* MAF: Some pinging issues, have to reburn chip, not fully 'reversable' as you have to cut wires... dealers around here are SOB's and will find the cut wires... I dont want to have to go to Houston to fix my blown I/C!

Hmmmmmf.

Sorry about the negative post...
