Well, now that I have a pro m my exhaust look somewhat gray instead of black and thats the way they should look. Gray not black. when they are black they are running to rich.

Noel,

I'd still be careful. The exhaust soot is not a good way to check for the A/F mixture at WOT.

I presume the Johnny Lightning Superchip I have is more aggressively leaned out than the program you have, so I'm going to err on the side of caution until I get a meter on it.

Someone here is going run too lean and to toast some pistons one of these days. I don't want it to be me.

Injection is nice, but I'd rather be blown.

I got a PSP a few weeks before the GP on the Pro-M. I got detonation at WOT. Now, after PSP reprogrammed my chip to eliminate detonation, all was well. With the PSP and the Pro-M, detonation is VERY pronounced. Don't melt your engine if you got in on the Pro-M and have a chip. Send your chip vendor the flow numbers that came with your MAF and reburn. Word to the wise.

Cool

Quick question. Everyone's talking about reburning chips after getting this new MAF. I don't have an aftermarket chip, but do I still need to adjust the fuel/air mixture to compensate? Or will it be okay the way it is..
