Goodyear 28 11.50x16 Slick
BA,
I ran my 28x11x15 Goodyears this weekend. I didn't have digital camera so I'll have to get film developed and send you a picture.
I went with the silver wheels and adaptors, I think they look good, now just need a chip for my CUX2.

reality1,
Did you have your ECM re-flashed to a CUX2, did the dealer do it on there own or did you get a new CUX2 ECM? Mine was re-flashed by the dealer when troubleshooting the fuel pump failure by a tech. fishing for the trouble. Is the CUX2 better than the CUX1 or is there no real difference other than the addressing of the program?

Jim,
I'll be glad to see your photos. As you know I also run CUX2 and even with all of the mods I run without a chip ( use the chip for drag racing). If you do go with a new chip I would advise that you go to the same source that Dwight is going to.
PS. Just became a dealer for Pro-M and can offer them in kit form (kit includes Pro-M all brackets, custom hose, filter and an oval throttle body for the Lightning) custom colors and or polish finish too.

SVT54SC,
Dealer installed new computer, it is a long story but different codes for Service Engine Soon Light, I am convinced the old computer was momentarily shutting down truck. I'm not sure of difference(s) except chip for a CUX1 will not work in a CUX2. No CUX1s available
BA,
I am sending you and e-mail. As usual, need help on a question.
Thanks Again for all your help with the wheels

Calling REALITY1. You are running the tires I would like to run. I am courious if you could post your 60', 1/8 amd 1/4 speeds/times and if you ran the 26" tires before what difference you see.

Jim,
Congrats on the successful wheel/slick setup! I would really like to see some pics! I will also need to countersink the adaptors and as far as shaving off of the calipers I am thinking of going with BABolt's trick setup but would like to see how it looks with just shaved off calipers as well. And definitely post your 60' times!! Please e-mail me!
Thanks,
Mike

Brimstone, noelvm,
Should have some 60 ft times as soon as I can get a chip for my CUX2.
Ran the tires this weekend to check them out, but was somewhat underpowered with new computer. Only got two runs but it seems I have to get used to the rpm I can goto prelaunch (brakes now seem to be limiting factor)as I could never use over 600 rpm on the BFGs (that would give me 1.87s to 1.89s)

BA,
mechanic at my dealer said I could run a switch into each solenoid (1 switch, 4 relays) for ABS for line lock for all four wheels. He pointed to box just below radiator reservior, said might get a code for ABS when in use, but not the priority that needs a star tester to clear.
What do you Think?
