Post Southern MD Lightning Owners?

Are there any SOMD L owners on the board?

So far I've seen:
1 White L2 (Calvert Co.)
1 Silver L2 (Calvert, actually the missus spotted that one)
1 RED (St. Marys around San Souci, oh well there goes the "only red L2 in SOMD" bragging rights)
a smattering of L1s (one sharp red one in my area).

Seems like a high per capita percentage of Lightnings for the area, just interested in seeing if any of these owners are on the message board.

Good to know I'm not the only MDr here (all RED Ls too!).

I really haven't been a "fast" car type, nor have I ever been to a track (YET). I originally went to get a 2001 Supercrew, I'd read about the Lightning and had the mid-life thing going on and figured "I would like to test drive one just once". Well everyone on this board knows what happens next!

So now I've been lurking the board shopping for filters and pricing chips and looking up the numbers for local tracks.

My one fear is that my "just wanna take her to the track once to see what she'll do LEGALLY " idea is going to lead to an obsession!

Now I know what I've been missing!

It IS south of PA I guess, I do have some family up that way so maybe I'll see ya sometime.

I go that way to get to the dealer (hopefully not for the intercooler!) so maybe I'll see you on the drive.

If either of you go to the local track I may ask for some newbie tips.

Sorry for the long post but this is a great community and I really enjoy the board (not as much as the L!)

Cool

Welcome to the board poohbear. I live in southern P.G. County just minutes away from Route 231. Maybe I'll see you around.

Don't know if I count. Live in southern Montgomery county, about five miles north of the DC line. Red 99. Rarely get down your way. Like old St. Mary town. Founded in 1639, I believe.
