Thanks for the great input everyone! SVT Wannabe seems to be right on top of the 2001 situation, being that he has a VIN and scheduled production date. I think I will wait for the 2001, no matter how long it may be. A few extra horses never hurt and the 3.73's seem to be a desirable addition. I'm sure I'll get used to the cosmetic changes, or I'll tweak it a bit to my liking.

While I probably won't race the beast, I still want every ounce of power that can be squeezed out of it!

I just ordered a 2001, for MSRP sticker. I am told Silver will be available, this is the color I picked. FWIW, I test drove a 2000 and thought that the truck would benefit from the planned 2001 gear change.
