Hello everyone,

I'm a long time reader, new guy first time posting with an old question. My 02L daily driver with 54K now has the dreaded ticking noise, I have taken it to two dealers and they have no idea what it may be but did offer to take it apart for quite a bit of $$$. I've read many threads on here and loose spark plugs seem to be a common reason for some trucks with the ticking noise. I personally have no idea what it could be, the sound volume wise stays consistent but it does keep the same the rythm or pace as the engine when I'm driving it. I've also taken it to an exhaust shop and they ruled out and exhaust leak. Who can I go to in the LA area that could check this out for me? Any info. will be greatly appreaciated please help.

Which L do you have? I also live in the lovely SCV and Ive seen a few of them around town.
