Coils ???

Hey, anybody know if the Lightning ignition coils are the same as Mustang coils. My truck`s coils are slowly but surely dying. Should I use stock or Accel coils? Somebody please advise.

Jim, there's a guy on ebay that sells a set of 8 new coils for like $130. Or you could do the Accels for about $200.

Sal is just getting warmed up, i usually do not show up until 8:30 pm to his shop for work!
Don't go to ford, they are like 100 each.
Email this guy to for a price STEVE POWELL [fordsvtparts@hotmail.com]
tell him you got his info from modularfords.com
i just ordered my cam bolts from him and gave me the best price.. think everything is like 10% over dealer cost.

It's still about $50 each coil at cost pricing from Ford.

If Sal was just getting warmed up before, by now he must be burnin HOT,-OUCH!!!.

Yet still nobody anwsered if Lightning coils are the same as Mustang coils. I went on EBAY and found no Lightning coils but I did find a chit load of Mustang Coils. I`d like to try the Accel coils(yellow bling) but again most vendors list them for Mustangs.

Same thing, just make sure you get 2 valve coils, not 4 valve coils.

Finally an anwser. I`ll try the Accel`s. Wish PSP sold em, convenience is king. Thank You Sal and Tom (my two get me out of a "chit sandwich" guys). One guy gets me money, the other solves my motoring issues. I really love you two guys.(Sal more cause he`s a killer porno-star)

I am running the accel COPs. So far they are flawless and for the price I couldn't pass them up. Got mine for 180.00.
