Just received SuperChip R9 for my 2000

Just received SuperChip R9 for my 2000
Wednesday SuperChip called and said that they shipped my chip out with the new R9 for the 2000's.
Got my SuperChip re-burnt and received it UPS this afternoon. Installed and drove the L. Traffic too busy the remainder of the day to go WOT. I will tomorrow.
My initial thought is that it makes the L run the way I want it to. While street driving, it feels like there is more response, quicker, easier to burn. Shift does not ram in hard, it literally makes the L leep or lung foward when shifting during normal driving. Even my wife noticed the difference.
Other chips I have been using, while driving normal on the streets, made the L seem like it was heavy and did not have that quick feeling that is now has. It feels lighter (I know that it isn't) but the way it now acts makes it feel so.
Tomorrow I'll try WOT and get back to you. Right now I am extremely happy and satisfied with the L performance. Before I wasn't. It felt sluggish compared to what it now feels like.

I hope you didn't get the R9. The R9 is for the 1999 'L, the R7 is for the 2000.

With the release of the R9, we now have a similar program for both the 1999 and the 2000 Lightnings.
The difference between the R9 and the R7 programs for the 2000 Lighting is that the R9 shifts softer, primarily, and has a bit more power below 3000 rpm. There is no change in peak power output, so if R7 users like their shifting, they should stay with the R7 program, due to the lighter shifting of the R9.
