I hope that the intercooler reservior was not very expensive because those welds look nasty. There better be more support for that tank then just those two weak a?? straps or it won't be lasting in that position very long. I can't wait to see there headers maybe another exercise in welding 101. It is amazing that sometimes big bucks does not buy quality. Moses, please note this is not directed at you. I just fail to see the quality there for the price that they charge.

Cause it looked perdy...
Buts seriously, when it gets hot, you loose alot of HP. It's got a drain valve so can keep things cooler by adding ice water between runs. Ya know how hot the it gets after a couple runs, well with this reservoir, can easily add ice water to cool it down and running at full power again by the next run.
This is kinda a sneak preview for most people cause this hasn't been fully released yet by SHM, the full production version is supposed to be released very shortly. Not sure what the price is going to be. Polished aluminum? who knows.
The headers by the sounds of it are going to be something else. These things they've had under development for a very long time, prototyping, etc.
The long tube headers on my stang that they developed were extremely well crafted. There was a definate power increase and an extremely nice sound. They grab alot of attention when I pop the hood open at any show.
Cheers

Maybe the tank will get better looking in production. What I would like to see is better looking brackets (read that as fit function and aesthetics). What I see in the photo is sharp corners that will dig and gouge into the plastic over time. For me this does not add a look of quality. I would also like to see oval end caps on the tank and that is how I would / will build it. I have already redesigned my Rad overflow tank. I would like to see the headers on your Mustang. In fact if you show me yours I will show you mine. Thanks.

Moses,
It was fun fitting those snakes
Here is a photo of mine. I have not coated them yet because I am still testing. Oh by the way it is a 1995 4.6 liter 2 valve Mustang. The quickest in the country but not with me driving. that distinction goes to Barry Shepard.

Another CFH header photo. This time a Ford Focus header. These are mild steel and have not been ceramic coated yet but you can check out the quality of the construction and the welds.

Here's a couple pics of SHM mods. The first one is the aluminum intercooler reservoir (picture's not the greatest of it). The second is of the smaller blower pulley. As I get more pics I'll post them. Next pics coming up are the headers, MAF with filter, exhaust, electric fan (whenever I get it) and a few other mods as I get them done.

Yeah BABolt, nothing like going back to the classic rodding, back in the days of the holley 8 bbl carbs, craigers, blue bottles. Try to make these computerized blocks of steel do what we want them to do, and waking up the granny's in the progress.
Pretty nice looking header work.
Do ya beleive what they're doing with that focus now?? Some got 200+ horses pulling only 1200-1500lbs. They got headers, throttle bodies, superchargers, cams, full exhausts. There's almost more parts available for the Focus than there is the Lightning. Some peoples kids.
