Question? What do you intend to change it from? I have seen a few posts lately about octane questions in our Ls.
Am I the only one that has PREMIUM UNLEADED FUEL ONLY written under their gas guages, on the dash board, and on their gas tank doors?

Maybe I just don't get it!!!

Cool

you don't get it ford has most if not all factory stock Ls set up for regular gas 87 octane .it does not matter what it says on your truck about premium if you do not have a chip you are wasting money on premium, this of course would be overridden with aftermarket chip. or bring it to ford and demand, not ask that they raise it to 93 octane in the factory computer.later

Don't go to the dealer. (What they do is akin to NOTHING)
If you want more timing and less fuel, you will have to get some kind of "chip".

The stock truck will spark Knock on 87 octane even under moderate loading, so don't do it. the truck requires >89 octane. So do yourself a favor and use at least 90 octane.

Impossible, the "octane" setting will not and can not do that...

The commands that the "octane" setting would adjust are disabled.
It does not change the spark or fuel tables, so what does that mean?
It does not do anything for performance.

Don't waste your time to go the dealer, it will do nothing.
