well in the funny looking car but always have a BLAST with you guys!

I'm hoping to have something a little more 'heavyweight' for Jim to work on next

I hope we can get a small caravan from the south to head that way next year. Sounds like an awesome time.

1st run was like 14.5 but he left traction control on. 2nd was 13.5, I was right behind him on line and looked like he spun 1st and 2nd. He put drag radials on after that but did not see the rest of the runs

First things first, a big thankyou to the JDM crew for putting up with me over the last few days, it is always good to get down to the JDM shop and chew the fat with you guys.
See what's going on with the latest tuning and modfication of our trucks and cars first hand, hey Shaun sorry to be on your shoulder everytime you turned round. you guys have all made me welcome for the second year running and I go home having learned a wealth of information.
Julie many thanks for the endless cups of coffee and that smile every day, hey you know how to drive that big 350 4x4 too - Jim's a very lucky man.

The JDM event was fantastic, great to meet all you guys and girls again and put names to faces and faces to names, I thought I was gonna trip over Rob's mouth but tripped over him instead - I thought I was a shortass. Reminds me of Danny Divito yak yak yak yakety yak.

You have some well prepared motors there with only I minor oil down following a blower belt launch, that just shows credit to all your skills with the wrench and credit to your tuners too.

If this event goes three day you could be seeing numbers in the thousands and many more tough trucks and mustangs turning up too - what a family.

The main event was well hosted with everyone from JDM and supporting crews helping out, thanks for the welcome too Jim but have a word with young Jim III about his 19 sec pass LOL.
Thanks to Shauns mum & dad for preparing and serving that food - enough to feed an army and was real good too.
Thanks also to the Track and Safety officials who on every visit have made me welcome - well done guys as without you this sort of race event would never get off the ground.

Jim and the JDM company. You have put on an event that brings a lot of good people together, so many names and faces, one massive family united together, your all special and make the 9000 mile trip worth while.
Already got the event placed in my diary for next year.

Yeah I do miss "English" Tea, Fish & Chips and I will soon learn to spell Aluminium too as a big lump will be heading my way real soon (The first built JDM motor in the UK and now the first Aluminium JDM motor too.....
Cannot let all you guys have the 10 second glory can I ) even my misses once said to me after I told her I was in the 12 second club "That ok but the best club is the 8 x 7" club" DOH !!

Hey Brian, Vinnie & Terri, Fast Gator, Don, Dennis, Mike, Ralph, Rob and many others it was good to meet you all.

My heartfelt thanks to Jim & Julie for inviting me into their home on Sunday to see the end of the NASCAR and to have dinner with them too - Thankyou for putting up with me and suporting my passion for horsepower too.

A big thankyou to the whole JDM crew and everyone I have met and it was great to be at this event and hang out in Freehold for a few days.

Oh sorry Jim III when I told you about the Karioke at the bar and all the women hanging there, I forgot to tell you they was all over forty thanks for coming down buddy.

Hey Rikki and George < Remember when you were listening to my Gen I in the PITS, Well actually it was a blown head gasket. I knew it was awfully loud, Right below the #3 header tube was a piece of HEAD Gasket hanging out the block.. Never entered a water jacket or oil galley either.. Well that's what I get for putting in a set of CHEAP $41.00 graphite gaskets. Man was I on a pass. 99.50MPH in the 1/8 on the stock bottom end . Well I almost got the heads off, I hope the HYPERPUNETICS are in one peice. If all goes well and I didn't hurt a piston I am putting on COMETICS, a MLS type gasket. That will teach that 123K mile motor a lesson. YES!!! it was a teriffic time and ALL the JDM crew and family were on top of their game. The word smooth describes how this event was managed It was good seeing you Jolly old chaps, Pip PIP, Didn't hear any stale JOKES from George, he was kinda quiet.. So, did you take any American bad habits back to the UK!! Talk soon Dennis
