Post donuts

Has anyone ever tried doing donuts in their Lightning? I haven't, but just wondering if others have.

I floored it one day at a stop just to see if it would spin the tires, and it did, but it also felt like it was getting some wheel hop if that were possible. I didn't try again to see though...

Finally hit 1500 miles!

While I know its bad for my tires, I frequently use the express-reverse feature of our lightnings. If I need to turn around on a street thats too small for my turning radius, I can just step on the gas and pivot the truck around its axis.
No more K-turns
I've never tried a 360 though. 180 is usually all I need.

Don't tell me you waited 1500 miles to floor it.

I havent tried a donut yet nor have I tried the C turn that Nathan talks about - At least not intentionally.

If my front tires arent pointed exactly straight, the rears will break loose and start to come around under almost any level of boost.

No, I didn't wait 1500 miles to floor it. =B] It was the first time that I tried to spin the tires deliberately though from a stop. Another time, I heard the tires spin going from 1 - 2.

Has anyone experienced wheel hop? I guess I'll have to try it again!

Wink

Done a few C turns, not all of them on purpose. Did a really nifty P turn today, though. Guy in the muffler shop told me to put my L. on the rack. Only problem, I was past the shop, and didn't want to go all the way around the (long) block. So, upon the first break in traffic, lit 'em up and did a C turn and kept it going till I was lined up with the rack. Couldn't stop giggling for hours.
