I recommend you look in the classifieds. You never know what you might find.

Sorry Mike. I got sooooo excited, I moved too fast. My wife will also tell that I have the same problem with her.

I screwed up big time. I'll let Mike himself fix my mistake.

I'm sure glad that some of our distributors read and keep up with our posts to correct our errors.

Hey Jim,

This is my "bust".

Hang on there a second, that CUX1R9 program is *ONLY* for the 1999 Lightnings, not for the 2000's. Sometimes when I'm talking to people in email, I can't remember if they have a 99 or a 2000 Lightning if it's not mentioned in each post, and that was obviously the case when I sent you that email response, so please, forgive me. Which is another reason why we don't like to have our private emails quoted publicly, just in case I stick my foot in my mouth, which I do on occasion, obviously!

So just to recap, the "R9" program (CUX1R9)is for the 1999 Lightning, not the 2000. R7 (CUX2R7) is the latest program for the 2000 Lightning.

We did not want any word of the R9 program leaking out simply because it is still in testing for the 1999 Lightning, and has not even been released to the public yet. The only people who have it are a few guys that are reporting back on it as compared to the BTS2 program for the 1999 Lightnings. So nobody else has it, as it's not even been released! I won't say when it will be available, but we did just get off the phone with the engineer to go over the program combinations that we wanted released.

My apologies for forgetting that yours is a '00 and not a '99 in email, as that was the source of the confusion, purely my fault.

In the future, for anyone reading this thread, when an annoucement is made that a new program is out for a 99 or for a 2000, remember that these programs are not interchangeable, and the 2000's cannot use the 1999 programs, and vice versa, they have numerous completely different tuning issues.

Sorry about that Jim, I know you were just trying to help and get the information out to everyone, so this confusion was my fault.

Now searching for a large rock to hide under,
