Well

There's how it came out. I ended up using spray on bedliner for the texture. Here is a picture of the full dash.

I don't actually end up watching it too much, but it might be nice for a passenger on a long drive...

I got the Dashmat from a place in CA near where I used to live. It's one of the 'Ultimat's' which I liked because it doesn't have any sewn seams.

hmm... thats odd, you seem to have a "pocket" in your dash that i dont have... maybe they dropped that on the '00 trucks.

I thought it was the grey, but looking at the pictures it sure looks like the smoke. I couldn't find the receipt to tell for sure. You might try calling them and asking which is the closer match.

The 99's have a slightly different dash from the 00's, so that's probably why you guys don't have that pocket. That's where I keep my garage door opener since I don't have the overhead console. It's cool because when you get on it, anything in that pocket comes shooting out and goes under the seat and then you have to dig around under there with all the critters and find it.

Man, that's kick. If you don't mind me asking; what's a DVD setup like that run installed for everything. Can you play movies while driving; I've seen RV setups that can't be used while driving if the monitor can be seen by the driver. Email me if you don't want to post here.

I had looked at doing the same exact thing in my L.I now see that they can get both units in the dash.The cool thing about the dvd player is that it also plays cd's as well.The price i was quoted for the dvd,receiver,and 12disc cd changer was a little under 3,000.Considering i have around 6,000 already invested in my stereo,i may go the extra mile and do this...Thanks Wheels for the pics!!!

Yeah right when i drove off the lot I went right to soundtrack in Thornton CO.Truck didnt even have a chance to be stock!
I know that the Alpine Receiver in the pic that Wheels posted retails from 1100 to 1400 depending on where you go,and the dvd is right around 900 to 1100.I have a complete alpine system in my truck,2 alpine v12's alpine cd,alpine dddrive components...
the sub amp is a 100x2 or 600x1 and is around 400$ the main amp is 40x4 and was 450$
The dddrive components were 275$The worst part of all this is the cost of install.
