Lowest Drop with 22 inch wheels.

I just put 22x10 foose spank 5's on my L and it looks ok due to the fact that it sits at the factory height still. What is the lowest drop that I can do with those wheels so that they do not rub when turning or when going over pot holes and bumps? I was thinking something like 3 in the front and 4 in the rear. any suggestions.

Look for post from Mecca, I believe he has 22’s with a sick drop. I am doing mine next week, have 22 in foose speedsters. Doing belltech spindles in the front, and western chassis front hangers, socal shock extenders and 3 in shackles in the rear. Had the stuff for almost a year but actually just made an appointment with an electrician 30 minutes ago to come and hook up my compressor so I can install them finally.

It's a Western Chassis 4/6.... Coil Springs and A-Arm's up front, flip kit out back C-Notched. I installed the entire thing myself without any problems. Hardest part was C-Notching, but I removed the bed and it made it nice and simple. Take it easy.

i had the western chassis kit on my first L with 22s and 285/35 rubber.. IMO it's very impractical for a DD. but holy cow did it look good standing still.

I did a 3/4 drop and it rides really well. I didn't go any lower in the back because I want to keep it practical for a daily driver. I'm not sure if the Lightnings come 1" lower all the way around from the factory like the Harley does but.... take a look so you can get a good idea.....hope this helps

I drive the L about once a month so that is not my main concern. As long as it does not rub I dont care. Mecca what is involved in the c-notch and how much did the entire kit cost you?

That definitely looks AWESOME. I would be scared to c-notch my frame. Good job though.

Just for reference. That's a 1/2 drop with 22s. Great daily driver stance. No problem with tall speed bumps or steep parking lot transitions.
