Talking No. Calif - Let's Go Racing!

There seems to be a surprising lack of people on the left coast taking their L's to the drag strip (even occasionally), posting drag stories/info, having ET's in their sig's...
Let's try to change that.

Every Wednesday night, Sears Point Raceway has drag racing. Every imaginable kind of car is there, with drivers of all
skill-levels.

Racing starts at 5pm... during trials you will get 4-5 runs, and in 'eliminations' you will get 1-6 more runs, depending on how good you are.

All this for only 17 bucks!

Let's try to get a large LIGHTNING GROUP at next Wed's race (8/16). (No racing tonight)

Anyone interested?

P.S. Current weather at the track: 65 deg / 59% hum / 29.98 pres
Should be even cooler in the evening!

Dreamin...I will be there. Just installed Pro Torque convertor. Curious to see what it will do to my times. Hope to see you.

Axe: Unfortunately it SUCKED. Way too many cars... lots of waiting and not a lot of racing...

Of the 4 L's there - Incon, Calighnin, and I only got 2 runs and got eliminated.

My best: 14.0 @ 97.8 (2.16 60') (I have 1900 miles)
Incon: 14.0 @ ? (600 miles)
Calightnin: 13.45 @ ?
Another guy who isn't on this board: 14.2-14.3
Temps: ~90

Incon and I are going to Sacramento Raceway this weekend... I need to get more runs in to see how fast my L really is.

Anyway, it was cool to meet Incon and Calightnin!

Cool

It was great meeting you guys. I actually only got one run. Hope I can also make it to Sacramento and we will all do better. Still it was all worth it just to meet other L owners.
