Post flowmasters............again

Almost certainly going down the route of 2 x 2 1/2 inlet flowmasters probably the 40 series, can't see the point of changing without a noise gain!! My question is to those who have done this modification, do you add a H pipe to the combination?
Any other comments or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Cool

nick d,

I have the same two flowmasters 40 series mufflers on my truck and am very happy with them.

I did not add an H pipe or a X pipe to them.

They seem to work very well and sounds great!

Good Luck,

Matt

Talking

I will have a pr. of Flowmaster Delta 50's
for sale if anyone is interested in them. They are new and in the box. They were sent to me by Flowmaster for a mistake they made.
Best offer for them takes'em if anyone is interested. I have no use for them now. I installed a Excellerator X144 muffler and love it. Thanks-Bryce

Thumbs up

As posted a couple weeks ago, I installed the Delta 40's with no "H" pipe. The truck is still on the quiet side at idle but has a good sound running down the road.

Hey fribab, drop me a line: Floyd91@worldnet.att.net. Also, are the 50's louder than the 40's?
