Cool "Y2K-VET" Kill, all across town.

Thats whats happened. This guy must not have been able to drive. I must have spanked him 3 times. It was so bad I thought he was just messing with me. We took it to about 60 each time, with me pulling ahead 1/2 a truck and staying there.

I think you really have to burn the clutch to get those things to haul a$$. Sharp looking car though. Black, with dark tinted windows.

The really cool thing about it was all my friends telling me they see Lightnings racing Vettes and whipping ***. I guess I had to see for myself. One saw another Black Lightning tear up a Black Corvette, and thought it was me. Poor guy, $45k and loosing to a $31k truck.

Tundra, I raced a 99 conv. two nights ago. I pull up to a light and next to me was this Vette. The plate says U WANNA. So I say, Hell yes I wanna. When the light changed he took me by about half a car length. He didn't gain (and I didn't gain) an inch until I shut it down (@ around 110) for the next light. When I pulled up next to him he would not even look at me. When the light changed this time he just took off real slow and would not play any more. I had my 17 year old son with me and when we got home I told my wife that I had raced a Vette (I wish I could learn to keep my mouth shut). Then my son tells her that it scared the crap out of him. He was just kidding but boy am I in the dog house now!! I thought these Vettes would clean our clock. I didn't win, but as you said it had to get his goat to not out run a P/U. I think I will order my new personal plates with I WANNA!!

I like owning the Vette performance, and the truck utility.

I remember getting my dad in trouble like that. Just telling mom about what just happened. Him trying to cover, but me just innocently blowing it for him. "No dad, she WAS blond and YOU opened the door for her..."

Time to have that talk...

Had the talk. It won't happen again! Or I'll take his new (to him) 94 Firehawk away for a week. He can ride the yellow dog to school for a while.

Cool

Took a trip down to vegas this weekend.

Some guy in a ZR1 and his buddy were whipping through traffic cutting people off.

I got in behind him and almost went off the road laughing when I saw his double take when he looked in his rearview mirror at about 130 and realized there was a pickup truck sitting on his bumper.
