Post "protection" for your fogs

go to http://www.xpel.com/headlight/applications.html they sell these covers that will protect your fogs ($1000 guarantee also) since I just cracked one, I will wait until I can get the new 2001 "L" fogs then get some of this stuff to protect them with.

BTW the have the "L" kit on the right hand side 2-3 one down on the second list

Yoda, thanks for the info and no hit on you, but I must be missing something, what the f#%^ is it? That is the worst web site I have ever seen! I just spent 20 minutes trying to figure out exactly what they sell and still don't know. They show what it cost to repair the headligt, show their warrenty but never show the kit. When I hit the pitures button, my computer said it could not access that page. What does the kit look like anyway, what is it?

Question

Is this the same 3M material sold by StoneGuard?

My StoneGuard fog light protectors browned after about a month and a half of having them on.

I have 55W foglamps (standard wattage), and StoneGuard was rated for 60W, but they still browned...might be the SuperWhite lights I have, but who knows.

sorry guys, it was looking through a rag & saw an advertisement on protecting your head lights from flying debris (craked fog lights) & checked out the internet sight on it. The price 4 the 6 piece set (both fogs, headlights, & turn signls) is $53.95. I would really only want the fog light protection, but looks like you need to buy the kit. Figure that for $54 I can fix having broken fog lights.

Thepawn, man that sux, I wonder if it is the same material that you used. I sure wouldnt want them to turn brown. Did you contact the co. & ask them if that was common?
