OK, so it's a 1/21 scale burago, it was $24.00 at the Ford dealer, & told the parts guy OK. then the other parts guy said "aren't You the guy who bought the black Lightning last week?" I said yes, & the parts manager handed it to me and said "no charge". some simple things in life can make Your day, that made mine. now I have a model of mine, also black. they sold 2 lightnings since I bought mine about 10 days ago. 2 more & they are out! LS

my dealer Forest Ford gave me a free model
too!I don't know if it's your dealer also,
but they are pretty good about stuff like that!told them I was putting on some mod's
full Bassani,K+N filter,etc.they didn't seem to mind.GOOD Dealer so far.BTW I own a Silver
L and all they had was a red or black one,so
I took the red one.might take it apart and paint it silver,maybe?????

Baby Jake & Fast gator, If My dealer gives me the runaround, You can bet I'll go on to the next one. There's a few around here. I have sent several people in to buy these trucks, & now they only have @ left. one hand washes the other. if they forget who I am, I'll load My truck on My flatbed tow truck & take it some where else! So far they have been great, My CD changer was missing the magazine, they handed me one right away. We'll see how the service department is later. D Topp, Yes Forest is where I bought mine. I'm glad you took the red one because i needed black! If you decide to paint your model, remember silver is the hardest color to paint on a model. mist coat it from waaay back, with very thin coats. You must be very close to me! (Norridge isn't that big) I'm by Irving & Cumberland. Was that the service department You talked to about the Mods? LS

Forest has a "good" business, I believe. The Jetta came from Forest in Palos, have had great service from them.
