East coast Gen II's didn't show at L-Fest

Yea that's right , I am Bummed ... I know that a few of you guys know me I'm the big guy in the Red 95 that always joins in on the drag racing fun. Been to most of the JDM days <> SSOTN spring and fall nationals and Fords @ E-town . Take nothing away from those Gen II owners that made the trip out to KCIR but after seeing those truck run it is apparant that the fastest GEN II's are over here in the North East I think the best Gen II pass was a 10.99 all week end. Yea !! Frank5L was a little drunked up and talked about his 8 second single turbo gen II and how he will whip everybody's azz , Dude if your listening lay off the BOOZE Sounds like Jim ,Johnny and Sal have there hands full I really expected to see some LOWWWW 10 second or even a High 9 second gen II show up Vinnie where were you at, you would have had another spread in MM/FF if you had showed . Johnny Lightning flew out to lend his support to the Gen II owners because he had some issues with the twin turbo's trans he decided not to bring the truck. All you Gen II owners should be proud to be a major force of the racing community. AND NO it wasn't the altitude of the track:::many people that run Cecil, Atco and E-town made personal best. So the MYTH of the Cecil Mine Staft was laid to rest. Plan you trip to L-Fest07 NOW and show them what a fast Gen II looks like!!! OH a Thumbs up the Yeager, if he didn't break on his first run he would have made some nice 10 second passes

I hurt my transmission on the 1st pass @ Lfest & I was kinda bummed but that's Racing. I still made 3 passes 8.64 @ 157 mph / <---missing 2nd gear!
9.99 @ 137 mph & 14.01 @ 60 mph. I was Done! Everyone has been telling me how the Air sucks out there & we just didn't see it. I ran (2) 8.63 passes @ Atco & ran a 8.64 @ KCIR missing 2nd gear with the same tune up! The Gen 2's besides 2 trucks were running very slow. I can't believe how Fast these trucks are here in the Tri-State area.... Great Job Johnny Lightning / PSP/ & JDM for building these Fast trucks here in the East! It was nice to meet Yeager & see Johnny Lightning & Sue. I will be pulling my transmission out Thursday night & hopefully getting it back in a week or two. I hope to see you guys at Fords @ E-Town, JDM Day, SSOTN...

lol no worries. 90% of the people on here only want to know if a 48# pully is okay on a stock block. They weren't around for the drama.

And I hope ot be proven wrong. The date is pushed and pushed just like bill's truck till finally.....

We caught a RARE weekend where temps and corrected DA were very favorable to racing - not what we usually see in the midwest.

i do not think the location is what caused the poor gen 2 showing,,,it just might be the poor treatment alot of gen 2 guys get on nloc.net,,,,,,big d has banned most of the guys that would have gone,,,,im not trying to personaly attack with that statement, im just pointing out what seems logical to me

You see I don't come here or post much on F-150 to know how you guys with your Gen II's have been treated on NLOC. I guess there is alot of CHIT going on under the radar that I don't know about!!! Oh well I will see the Fast Lightnings at SSOTN or E-town very soon!!!

You do have to admit that some of the guys deserved getting banned. There are rules on there and they are posted and decided not to follow them. I also think there wasn't a poor showing either. They had a lot of trucks out there. I just couldn't make it because Uncle Sam had me busy.
