I love mine

There's lots of US trucks over here but remember that most of our roads aren't made for such large vehicles and gas costs about $7 per gallon.

I've said it before but some of you have missed the point about the humour of Top Gear.
It always plays to National stereotypes.
All Frenchmen are smelly and cowards. All germans are semi-*****. All Americans are rednecks etc etc.

It's a cheap laugh. Don't get bent out of shape over it.

I love that show. You notice the first half he was in the Lightning he looked like he enjoyed the hell out of it when he stomped on it. Don't be upset he bashed the L (you can tell they're semi-joking anyway when he says at the end "then there's the roof, oh you can't see it") and the fact they took it offroad - remember, they put the million dollar Ferrari Enzo on their "un-cool" list, lol. They bash, in a kinda humorous way, alot of fine cars on that show (I have every episode, lol). It's all in fun.

My dad is from England, and my uncle still lives over there. I have been there quite a few times and those roads are not made for trucks at all. Most of the country roads and lanes will barely fit 2 cars side by side let alone a truck and a car. I was a fan of the show until I watched this episode. The thing that pissed me off the most was the "incest" joke. Just because we like trucks doesnt mean we are inbred. He came off as a Pompous A$$ if you ask me.

BTW This was on the 04-07 Forum and a bunch of us wrote the BBC nice little emails regarding this episode.

his L wasnt in the best of shape when he said it had gaps and **** and play in the steering wheel.. first of all.. that damn thing was converted over to the right side of the vehicle and it looks like it was done very poorly at that.. if he had an f150 or lightning that wasnt all jacked up im sure he wouldnt have been able to say the same about the interior or steering..
