I'm waiting on a 2001 but checked with Bob Bennett Ford in SC. I believe Screaming Lightning had led me in that direction. They had one of each as of Saturday, going for $26995!! Said they even advertised the price and still were having trouble selling. I asked about a 2001 and they said they won't discount right off, but maybe laternext year.

I bought My Blk. 2000 L about 5 days ago for $28,200 with their $1,200 (MARKUP PACKAGE) undercoated, scotchgaurd ETC. List was $32,600. A couple days ago they sold the white one, now they have 2 reds & 1 white in stock. These are in Chicago, call Ernie at 773 889-4998. nice people! I'm very happy. LS

I bought mine from Bob Tomes up in McKinney. Every dealer I spoke with in DFW would not let any of the '99s go for less than sticker...period.

The '00s seem to be staying on the lots a little longer, though...at least in N. Dallas.

But, consider sticker a fair deal for one. Yeah, the dealer makes a ton of $$ on it, but if you want it bad enough, it's well worth it.

Priced 2000 Lightnings at Coastal Ford and Treadwell Ford in Mobile Alababma. Both would sell for 30,000. out the door tax was included in that quote. Loaded trucks.

 

Got mine for $30,900 tax tags and title included. Just have to really shop around
