Whipple dyno stock block!!

went to see Sal at PSP today.. all i have to say is HOLY $H!T!!! i had to drop the boos down on the truck i went from a ported eaton, C&L upper, 2.7 and a 6# which netted me 16# of boost.. with the Whipple i have a 3.375 upper and i installed a 4# lower making 14# of boost.. with 14deg. timing i made 538.07hp/602.50.. before i had 500hp/600tq with 16# boost and 16deg. timing.. the conditions were, 75.76deg. Barometer 30.25in/hg, humidity 12%... im very pleased with the power i made for what i have with the stock bottom end, all i know is that this thing pulls like a horse plowin the fields!!! the power band is unreal.. i need to hit the track now and lay down some numbers..... thanks Sal!!!!

That's to be debated. I think with the Eaton, possibly, with the whipple and that low of boost it may last longer than you think.

More than six months now with my Whipple at the same power level. The tranny didn't make it; but, the engine is still fine.

awesome numbers! Is it possible to get a good tune fromn him without dyno? What are the chances of getting a mail order tune on the money? Nice job sal, I think thats puts you in the deep 11s for sure. Congrats

Rich tells Sal to go take it for a Death Ride after they were all done on the Dyno, Sal was like, I dont know man, baw ha ha ha ha ......
He did anyway and figured Rich would vent it on the way home.....
ok ok you know I'm only kidding my Brother from another Mother ; o )

The Stang did pretty good meself, 384/384, not bad for a 6 cat stock exhaust and no TB or Plenum. Stock was @235 so the Procharger, Inj's, and Maf added @60%Power. WOO HOO THATS A MOD!!! (11's again soon baby, weighing 3424 has it's advantages.... ; o )
