Talking Finally cleaned up my intercooler and changed plugs

today, i spend most of the day changing my spark plugs and while i was it, clean up my intercooler and wow to my surprise the intercooler wasn't all that bad. It had oil but not as much as i've seen on the pics of some people on this board.. but a difference. the boost comes quicker, and runs smother. I never thought it ran bad before but now I can tell a diff.I pick up two small filters and using instr. that i found here did the no oil in throttle body mod. The truck idles better and runs smother. I did all this for the first time. The only thing ive done before was changing the oil. I'm no mechanic, trust me but the trucks rocks now!I appreciate all the help i got on the way.

You got a link for that?

I got an 00 and i know I need to clean out my intercooler, check my supercharger and change the fuel filter but I am very hesitant to do it on my own. Heck ive got a FTVB that has been sitting in my room for a year because I dont want to put it in myself. But maybe this weekend...

dude, changing the valve body for the tranny is so easy.....you can do it man! I helped my buddy do his on his '02 L and it was really easy. You just need a couple of sockets and something wide enough to catch all the tranny fluid when it comes out of the pan. The included instructions were very helpful and easy to read also. The shifting was so much more badass after the install...it was/is awesome. You should def. go do it right now! (ha, or at least this weekend.)
