The intake "bulb" will end up being a restriction and create turbulence. Seen more then a few people on the internet state they made more power with the bulb removed then with it on. The intercooler sprayer is about the only thing that is somewhat useful with the Cryo2 but you wont get a good dyno result because the co2 will be injested by the air filter and will kill horsepower results. Nitrous intercooler sprayers make more power because the nitrous is injested by the air filter while on the dyno. Not because of the cooling effects on the intercooler. This stuff has been out since 2003 but you cant find any legit testing on it other then a v6 mustang with a vortech supercharger. They only got 8 more to the wheels. It does work somewhat, but not worth the money they charge for the setup.

That's geared for an air cooled IC though no?

It seems to me if this setup, regardless of the quality, was the end all to track cooling and more consistant times there would be a alot more info available, for me I just can see filling tanks unless I'm doing nitrous, ice is just to easy, available everywhere and it's cheap. Intercooler fans, fuel cool can, wetter water, iced intercooler/moter, efan- sure, as for interchillers what will it give me for the money that nitrous won't?

This does the same thing as nitrous. I think someone is pulling your chain, but hey will wait out for the test.

Excellent news on the testing. I am willing to bet your getting a free kit though. Last I heard was the rule of thumb was 1% hp for 10 degrees reduction. So they are saying you'll lower intake temperature 100 degrees? That's bloody unlikely. Add to that you don't make more HP with colder air. You make more HP because the colder air allows more timing.

Good luck, I hope it works out, and either way the Lightning community is going to get some good data.
